At the Pike County Sheriff’s Office we offer residential checks to homeowners who won’t be at home for a period of time. No matter the occasion: whether it be just going out of town for a couple of days or a full-blown vacation, let us take the stress of worrying about your residence away by letting us watch over your property while you’re gone. 

To set up residential checks contact the sheriffs office at 740-947-2111 and dial extension 1 to speak to dispatch to get the proper paperwork filled out

Requirements for residential checks:

1. Homeowner’s Name and phone number
2. Email Address: will be used to send the completed form to you once you are back showing times we checked your residence.
3. Emergency Contact Name and Phone Number
4. Dates from when you leave to when you will be back (no more than 30 days)
5. Do you have a security system installed? yes or no?
6. Do you have any cameras? yes or no?
7. Any vehicles that should be on the property? if so you will need the Make, Model, and Tag number when you call dispatch.
